Deleting the data from one connected platform

Disconnecting a channel deletes its tokens, stored identity and analytics. Your Clepora account and videos stay.

What you see

You want Clepora to stop accessing one platform and delete what it stored from it.

Why it happens

Disconnecting deletes that account's access tokens, the identity Clepora stored (username, account id, profile image) and every analytics record from it. It doesn't delete your Clepora account or your uploads, since you may still use them elsewhere. Removing Clepora from the platform's own settings has the same effect.

How to fix it

  1. Open Connections, choose Manage on the channel, then Disconnect / release.
  2. Or remove Clepora in the platform's own app settings. Facebook, Instagram and Threads notify Clepora automatically.
  3. If Facebook, Instagram or Threads gave you a confirmation code, open the data deletion page with that code to see what was deleted.
  4. To remove everything, delete your whole account instead.
