Terms of Service

By creating an account, you confirm you are 18 or older and agree to these Terms. Misrepresentation of age or identity is a breach of these Terms and may result in account termination and legal action.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Clepora. By registering an account, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy
  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful
  • You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Clepora.

2. Age Requirement and Verification

Clepora is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

  • Users under 18 are strictly prohibited from using Clepora
  • By registering, you declare under penalty that you are 18 or older
  • Misrepresenting your age constitutes fraud. We reserve the right to terminate accounts, pursue legal remedies, and report violations to relevant authorities
  • We may request age verification documents at any time. Failure to provide verification may result in immediate account suspension
  • If we discover a user is under 18, the account will be terminated immediately and all data deleted

3. Accuracy of Information

You agree that all information you provide to Clepora is accurate, current, and complete. This includes:

  • Your name, email address, and account details
  • Your age and eligibility to use the Service
  • Your ownership or authorisation to use the content you upload
  • Your authority to connect and publish to the social media accounts you link

Misrepresentation Penalty

If you provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information, Clepora may: immediately terminate your account without refund; pursue legal action for damages; report the misrepresentation to law enforcement or regulatory authorities; and hold you liable for any harm caused to Clepora or third parties as a result.

4. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately at support@clepora.com if you suspect unauthorised access
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to any other person
  • You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans

5. Content You Upload

5.1 Your Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Clepora. By uploading content, you grant Clepora a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and publish the content on your behalf as directed by you.

5.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring:

  • You own or have the legal right to use and publish the content
  • The content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • The content does not violate any applicable law or the policies of destination platforms
  • You have obtained all necessary consents from any individuals appearing in the content

5.3 Prohibited Content

You must not upload or publish content that:

  • Is illegal under any applicable law
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Contains explicit sexual or adult material
  • Promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or terrorism
  • Contains misinformation or deliberately false claims
  • Harasses, threatens, or defames any individual
  • Contains malware, spam, or deceptive content
  • Violates children's safety or any child protection law
  • Violates the Terms of Service of any destination platform

6. Platform Compliance and Connected Accounts

When you use Clepora to publish content to third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Telegram), you also agree to comply with each platform's respective Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Monetisation Policies. Clepora is not responsible for content removed or accounts suspended by third-party platforms due to your policy violations.

You connect your social accounts to Clepora through each platform's official OAuth authorization, and you grant Clepora permission to access and publish to those accounts on your behalf only for the scopes you approve. You may disconnect or release any connected account at any time from the Connections section of your dashboard. Disconnecting revokes Clepora's access token with that platform (where revocation is supported) and removes the stored credentials, after which Clepora can no longer access or publish to that account.

7. Copyright and DMCA

Clepora respects intellectual property rights. We have implemented audio fingerprinting and visual content scanning to detect potential copyright violations before publishing.

If you believe content published through Clepora infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice to:

Include: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing content, your contact information, a statement of good faith, and your signature.

Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated in accordance with our repeat infringer policy.

8. Subscription and Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Failure to pay may result in account suspension or termination
  • Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor — we do not store payment card data

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use Clepora to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Circumvent any content scanning, copyright detection, or safety system
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

10. Account Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

When you delete your Clepora account, all of your information and every connection to your social media accounts are removed. Clepora revokes and deletes the access tokens for all connected platforms, which means Clepora will no longer have any access to those social media accounts.

10.2 Termination by Clepora

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Are found to be under 18
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property rights
  • Fail to pay applicable fees

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Clepora does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that published content will reach its destination platform without issue. We do not guarantee the accuracy of analytics data retrieved from third-party platforms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clepora's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Clepora in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Clepora is not liable for: loss of revenue or profits, loss of data, reputational harm, platform suspensions caused by your content, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clepora and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your misrepresentation of age or identity.

  • LGPD — Brazil Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados

  • Platform-specific policies — YouTube API ToS, Meta Platform Policy, TikTok Developer Agreement, LinkedIn API ToS, X Developer Agreement, Pinterest Developer Policy

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email and in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
