Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy is part of the Terms of Service and covers payments for Clepora subscriptions, which are sold by Pontelon LLC. The Free plan involves no payment. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law of the place where you live.
2. Automatic renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or (where offered) yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period at the price of your plan, plus any applicable tax, until you cancel.
- The price, how often you will be charged and how to cancel are shown before you pay, and you confirm them before checkout opens.
- Payments are taken by our payment processor, Stripe, from the card you enter. We never see or store your card number.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you do not want to continue.
3. How to cancel
- Cancel online at any time in Profile → Billing & plan → Manage billing. You can also email support@clepora.com from your account email address and we will cancel for you.
- Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your posts and settings stay in your account, subject to the Free plan's limits.
- Deleting your Clepora account cancels your subscription immediately, and no further charges are made.
4. Your 14-day refund on a first payment
If you are not happy with Clepora, email support@clepora.com within 14 days of the first payment you make for a paid subscription on your account, and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason.
- The refund applies once per account, to its first paid subscription payment, whether monthly or yearly.
- When we refund it, the subscription ends straight away and your account moves to the Free plan.
5. Other payments
Apart from section 4, payments are not refunded, including for renewals, for unused time after you cancel, for unused posts, uploads or other allowances, or when you move to a smaller plan. These are the exceptions, where we will refund:
- Billing mistakes. A duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled, is refunded in full.
- If we stop offering Clepora, or close your account for a reason that is not a breach of the Terms, we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
- If a feature you pay for stops working because a social platform withdraws or limits its access, and you cancel because of it, we refund the unused part of the current period on request.
- Where the law requires a refund, including the consumer rights described in section 6.
If we close your account because you broke the Terms of Service, payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
6. Consumers in the EU, the UK and elsewhere
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of buying it. Section 4 gives you a full refund in that period on your first payment, whether or not you have started using your paid plan, so you get at least what the law gives you. Consumers elsewhere keep any refund or cancellation rights their local law provides.
7. How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, through Stripe, including any tax charged on that payment. Your bank usually shows the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
- We aim to answer refund requests within 2 business days.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A dispute can freeze your account while it is reviewed, and we can usually resolve the problem faster.
