YouTube post held: YouTube settings needed
YouTube posts need a title, who can see the video, and whether it's made for kids. Add them and approve again.
What you see
A queued YouTube post shows "Needs YouTube settings", or publishing to YouTube is blocked until you make choices.
- Add the YouTube title and audience for this post, then approve it again.
- Choose who can see this YouTube broadcast and whether it is made for kids.
Why it happens
YouTube requires the creator to make these choices. Clepora never picks them for you, so there's no default for privacy or made-for-kids. Posts queued before these became required are held until you fill them in. Saving the settings withdraws approval so you can preview what will be uploaded.
How to fix it
- Open Posts and find the row marked Needs YouTube settings.
- Open its YouTube settings.
- Enter the title and choose who can see the video (public, unlisted or private).
- Answer whether it's made for kids, and whether it contains realistic altered or synthetic content.
- Save, then approve the post again.
