YouTube Shorts or long-form video?

They're separate builds behind one Google sign-in. Tick both if you want the choice when you publish.

What you see

Only one YouTube option appears when publishing, or a vertical cut went out as a regular video.

Why it happens

YouTube Shorts is a vertical render, capped at 60 seconds. YouTube Video is a landscape render that keeps the whole clip. One Google sign-in covers both, but each needs its own render. YouTube clips are scheduled one at a time so each gets its own settings.

How to fix it

  1. When uploading, tick YouTube Shorts, YouTube Video, or both.
  2. If you only ticked one, reprocess the post with the other ticked.
  3. When scheduling, choose Shorts, long-form, or both from the YouTube dropdown.
