Post failed: couldn't confirm whether it went out

Publishing was interrupted mid-way. Check your channel before rescheduling so it isn't posted twice.

What you see

A queue row is marked failed with a message saying Clepora couldn't confirm the post went out.

  • Publishing was interrupted, so we couldn't confirm whether this post went out. Check the channel before rescheduling it, so it isn't posted twice.

Why it happens

The publish started but was interrupted before the platform's answer came back. The post may be live, or may not. Clepora doesn't retry on its own, because a blind retry could post it twice.

How to fix it

  1. Open the channel on the platform itself and look for the post.
  2. If it's there, leave it. Don't reschedule.
  3. If it isn't there, reschedule the row, or use Publish now.
