Video stuck processing, or processing failed
Long renders for many channels can time out. Reprocess with a shorter video or fewer channels.
What you see
A post sits on processing for a long time, or shows as failed with a processing message.
- Processing took too long and was stopped. Try a shorter video or fewer platforms, then reprocess it.
- Processing failed after several attempts. Please reprocess the video — if it keeps failing, try a shorter video or fewer platforms.
- Processing stopped before it finished. Reprocess the video to try again — if it keeps happening, try a shorter video or fewer platforms.
- Content is still processing — wait for it to finish before publishing
- This post has used all 3 reprocesses. Create a new post to render it again.
Why it happens
Every ticked channel gets its own render, so a long video for many channels is a lot of work. A render that runs too long is stopped, and a render that dies part-way is marked failed automatically so it doesn't sit there forever. Each post can be reprocessed 3 times.
How to fix it
- Give it time: progress shows how many channels are done. Long videos for many channels take a while.
- If it failed, open the post in Posts and reprocess it.
- If it fails again, untick channels you don't need, or trim the video, then reprocess.
- Out of reprocesses? Upload the video again as a new post.
- If a short video with one channel still fails, contact support with the post's title.
