Data Deletion
Last updated: August 8, 2026
1. Removing a connected social account
When you disconnect a social account in Clepora — Settings → Connections → Disconnect — we immediately delete the access tokens for that account and the analytics we collected from it. Nothing further is required from you.
You can also do it from the platform's side. On Facebook, Instagram or Threads, remove Clepora from your account settings and the platform notifies us automatically. We then delete the same data and record the outcome, which you can check using the confirmation code the platform shows you.
2. Checking a deletion request
If Facebook, Instagram or Threads gave you a confirmation code, open the link they provided, or add the code to this page's address as ?code=YOUR_CODE. We will show you exactly what was deleted.
3. What we delete
Removing a connected account deletes, for that account:
- The access and refresh tokens that let Clepora publish on your behalf
- The account identity we stored (username, account id, profile image)
- Every analytics record we ingested from that platform
It does not delete your Clepora account or the videos you uploaded, because those are not owned by the social platform and you may still be using them with your other connected accounts. To remove everything, see the next section.
4. Deleting your whole Clepora account
Email support@clepora.com from the address on your account and ask for account deletion. We will delete your account, your uploaded media, your posts and schedules, and every connected account, and confirm by email when it is done.
We aim to complete account deletions within 30 days. Some records may be retained longer where the law requires it — billing records, for example — as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Questions
Write to legal@clepora.com and a human will answer. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
